Very different now to the 40’s and 50’s when I was a child. Narrow, overgrown path, sometimes blocked by fallen trees, wet and muddy in places, but with a sense of mystery and excitement to an imaginative child. Then as a teenager, games of truth and dare in the so called ‘bomb shelter’
