A compilation of photographs taken between early May 2010 and the middle of May 2011. Not public at present (though about 80% are published here) will see when we see. Quite like the result though. The first of four books due for publication May / June 2011.
The second in a series of four Blurb books for publication by 1 July 2011. Getting there. I didn’t make this one; Fliss did. I did take the bulk of the photographs though. This sequence was amusing when I made it – it seems even more so now.
Feijoas and the mower man, kitchen arrangements and a quick trip to meet the ‘PD boys’. Work on Abbie’s new OC. The book is called May 2011 because it is being made in May 2011; the first Blurb book I have made although I have tried. The book is courtesy a collaborative marketing exercise by Blurb and Zenfolio. The photos were taken between May 2010 and May 2011. Not sure how many pages I’m allowed – forum hunting hasn’t helped. To the value of $35US or so? No, around $30US.
In the mailbox this morning. So, I guess this is launch day for the new online version. Now, I’m wondering – well, I have been for some time – the ability to login and store numbers? Facebook et al. capture? OK, social networking interactivity (the site looks naked without any share buttons) and something I know even less about – the capture of numbers to your mobile address book – is this built in or is there an app? – am I talking through a hole in my head? And while I’m imagining a bright shiny new future how about wifi for the CBD – unrelated but related – just saying. Oh and also unrelated but related how about this then?
The joys of WordPress.ORG. If you want to know more (much more) how about joining us at WordCampNZ in Auckland next weekend.
Cool URL: http://ma.tt/ Matt Mullenweg talks with Kim Hill this morning. Interesting and constructive meeting. It is not a discussion about say Holden v Ford or road v rail – the internet v the telephone. It is more evolutionary than that. Road and rail are transportation and commerce platforms – WordPress is a communication, sharing, commerce et el platform. On Twitter: #wordcampnz.
and Matt on Not-WordPress on WordPress! He he you work it out.
