Best of New Zealand Geographic Photographic Exhibition
Stopping in Taupo for lunch today I notice the rather large ‘rustic’ and somewhat surreal sign for the Best of New Zealand Geographic Photographic Exhibition. Unfortunately I didn’t have time to visit the exhibition which I understand was showing close by at the Taupo Great Lakes Centre.

Interesting, first Getty then these
First Getty then Zimbo now NachoPhoto. This is the reality of events photo sales? The later is a ‘collection’ harvested by a viewer of images – I think. Perhaps Zimbo is the same. Gets Google attention though.

dIGITAL EYEs
Celebrated this Sunday afternoon in Cambridge at Deli on the Corner in Victoria Street – the exhibition opening of dIGITAL EYEs – the work of six Cambridge photographers. Characterful and colourful the Deli on the Corner café – one of Cambridge’s most popular – is home to much visual delight. Above photographer and Cambridge Edition editor Ann Huston – one of the six – with her work – “Flying High” – a photograph taken during Armistice in Cambridge last year. Ann tells me the plane is a Pitts S2S Special piloted by Noel Cruse.
On-line backup | Photo gallery
Amazon S3, Deviant Art, Flickr Pro, ImageShack, Mozy, Photoshelter, Picasa, RedBubble, Smugmug, Zenfolio.
This is a list of some on-line storage options for digtal media. The list is random and the services offered may not match one another. If you are looking for on-line storage these are a starting point. Of course you can use your Facebook or other social networking account to share and store images. My need is for backup and display. My choice Zenfolio.
PS If you do want to sign up to Zenfolio quote this HSU-YMW-KNV and you will (me too) receive a small discount.

Cool
And oddly compelling. Not sure where this places Little Artists. Odder that I should come across both on the same day. Oh and the optical illusion.
