Mock HDRI or a fluke? It does look the part – though, don’t look too closely! I quite like the building, but have yet to get a real handle on it. It does have a quiet presence which suits it’s place in the world, sitting as it is, alongside a large body of water. For some reason this photograph reminds me of some stylish 1950s American house and garden magazine illustration or perhaps an advertisment in National Geographic of similar vintage.
